Hyaluronic acid – wrinkle fillers
What is hyaluronic acid?
Hyaluronic acid is an entirely absorbable plumping product that fills in deep wrinkles, reshapes and plumps lips and restores volume to certain areas of the face, such as the cheekbones.
Effectiveness
Injections are given over 1 to 2 sessions. The effects are immediate. Results can last from 6 to 24 months depending on the viscosity of the product chosen, the area injected, and factors specific to the individual treated (in particular lifestyle).
Before treatment
Avoid taking over-the-counter anti-inflammatories and aspirin for 3 days before injections.
During treatment
Hyaluronic acid injections are not very painful
After treatment
You may experience redness, slight swelling, small bruises and lumps around any areas injected but these are all temporary side effects.
